Certified Medical Assistant Washington Crossing PA (30 miles NE of Philly)
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our practice full time in Washington Crossing, PA. Ideally the incoming CMA has primary care experience, and is proficient in phone triage, rooming patients, assessing vitals, including EKGs, and completing prior authorizations.

Duties:
-Assist the Physician and providers with patient care
-Triage incoming calls and document/delegate appropriately.
-Communicate physician-directed education/information to patients. (follow up calls, result review, etc. )
-Process prescriptions and refills (or cancellations) per physician direction.
-Support drawing/processing blood work for acute needs. Venipuncture and specimen collection (swabs, urine)
-Dispense acute medications, per office protocol.
-Room patients prior to seeing physician (check vitals, review current med lists, perform EKGs, etc.) communicate patient visit needs, and assist physician.
-Administer and track vaccinations.
-Obtain prior authorizations for medications and procedures.
-Ensure all EMR/email/phone messages are addressed and scripts completed before the end of the day.

Requirements:
-Certified Medical Assistant
-CMA license in PA
-Proficiency in medical terminology and primary care

Schedule:
-Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00 pm


Salary (range):
-$22/hr+
