Your Role:

Livepeer is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as the right hand to the CEO , acting as a trusted strategic partner and force multiplier. You will play a central role in operationalising the internal workings of a fast-moving, hybrid organisation at the intersection of AI video infrastructure and web3.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced operator who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to be at the centre of decision-making. You’ll partner with the CEO on the company’s most important initiatives—from setting company-wide priorities and driving business operations to board and investor engagement.

This role is intentionally designed as a stepping stone to a COO position in the success case —for a candidate who brings operational rigour, strategic thinking, and high ownership, and who aspires to grow into a broader leadership role over time.

Responsibilities:

CEO Support & Strategic Operations

• Operate as the CEO’s right hand—supporting strategic decision-making, internal execution, and leadership focus.
• Support the CEO to manage day-to-day company operations and priorities, including working on items such as goal setting/tracking/accountability, meeting structure and cadence, metrics reporting, and more.
• Support CEO-level communications, investor relations, and board preparation.
• Collaborate with the CEO on tokenholder engagement and special projects in the web3 ecosystem.
• Act as a thought partner, helping the CEO stay focused, informed, and ahead of key strategic decisions.

Business Operations

• Operationalize company-wide goal setting, metrics tracking, and internal reporting cadences.
• Partner with people leaders to structure and evolve the internal organizational design to support team efficiency and scale.
• Run point on high level projects, including input and coordination across legal, finance, and HR, to provide actionable solutions.
• Manage strategic, cross-functional projects that span multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Support community operations and ecosystem engagement, especially where business operations intersect with web3 networks.

Go To Market Operations

• Implement and customize internal tooling across both team operations and growth systems to support efficient business operations in Livepeer’s AI go to market.
• Partner with marketing, product, and engineering to operationalize the go to market effort across multiple products.
• Work on special projects to accelerate Livepeer’s pace for go to market.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years experience in high-impact business operations within a startup environment.
  
• Demonstrated project ownership—whether as a founder, GM, or senior operator driving key initiatives from 0 to 1.
  
• Professional experience in web3 or a strong personal track record of deep engagement in crypto ecosystems.
  
• Experience in consulting, venture, or strategy roles is a plus.
  
• MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus but not required.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a bias toward clarity and action.
• Comfortable managing ambiguity and bringing structure to evolving environments.
• Remote-first role, but candidates must be NYC-area based, with flexibility to work in person when required—preferably in NYC, Westchester County (NY), or Fairfield County (CT).

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: 130,000 - 150,000 USD per annum
• Token package: Competitive token package with a 3-year vesting schedule.
