Job Title: Chief of Staff (LA / US time zone preferred)
Location: Remote (US timezone overlap preferred)
Employment Type: Full Time - Independent Contractor

We are building three creative ventures at once, and we need someone who can help keep our team focused, organized, and moving forward.

This is a unique opportunity that sits across a digital rights agency, a cultural coffee brand, and a rising dance music label. We're looking for a Chief of Staff who can bring clarity to chaos, connect the dots across projects, and help our team work smarter.

What You Will Do

  • Assist leadership teams in coordinating cross-company projects

  • Keep the team aligned on priorities and ensure nothing falls through the cracks

  • Build and maintain systems using Asana, Airtable, Discord, Google Suite, and other tools

  • Support communication across teams, track initiatives, and surface blockers

  • Contribute to marketing efforts that connect artists with their audiences

  • Learn the ins and outs of music entrepreneurship from experienced founders

  • Improve our ways of working by introducing structure where needed

Who You Are

  • 2–4 years of experience in startups, operations, or fast-moving creative teams

  • Curious about music, creators, and systems; love learning how things work

  • Emotionally intelligent and people-oriented—great communicator and collaborator

  • Organized but adaptable; can thrive in messy, evolving environments

  • Proactive problem-solver who spots issues before they happen

  • Familiar (or able to quickly learn) tools like Google Sheets, Airtable, Discord, Mailchimp, Asana

  • Comfortable using AI tools and eager to explore how they can enhance workflows

  • Self-starter who thrives in a role where you help design how we work—not just follow it

Chief of Staff: First 90 Days Framework

  • Success indicators: improved systems, proactive execution, and strategic involvement

Days 61–90: Build & Begin

  • Transition from executor to thought partner

  • Lead at least one major initiative

  • Scale your impact through sustainable systems

  • Contribute to strategic planning and team development

  • Success indicators: independent leadership, systems sustainability, and growth support
