Job Description

We are hiring an experienced CNC Operator to run a vertical milling machine. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience operating a vertical mill in a machine shop environment. This role requires strong machining and measurement skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities Include:

• • Operate a vertical milling machine to produce parts according to engineering specifications.
  • Perform machine setup, including fixture clamping, loading raw material, and tooling installation.
  • Adjust machine feed, speed, and other settings to ensure optimal production efficiency.
  • Load and unload parts and fixtures correctly and efficiently.
• • Read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and job orders to determine required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Execute precise in-process quality checks using advanced measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, various gauges).
  • Monitor the machine throughout the cycle to identify and prevent defects or deviations from quality standards.
• • Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during the machining process, making necessary adjustments to tooling or machine operation.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on the vertical milling machine and tools.
  • Clean and organize the work area daily to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Skills and Qualifications ️

• 3-5 years of vertical milling machine operation experience.
• Experience operating a vertical mill in a machine shop environment is required.
• Strong machining and measurement skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain consistent quality standards.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: The expected hourly wage is $22-$25/hr . Pay will be offered based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.
• Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM3:30 PM
