We’re currently looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to help ensure our operations meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and sustainability. What You’ll Do

Program Development & Compliance

• Design, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.

Risk Assessment & Hazard Control

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and ergonomic evaluations.
• Recommend and implement engineering controls, administrative measures, and PPE solutions to eliminate or reduce hazards.

Audits & Inspections

• Lead regular site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews to identify unsafe conditions and environmental risks.
• Develop corrective action plans and track closure to ensure timely resolution.

Incident Management

• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regulatory reports as required.

Training & Engagement

• Deliver engaging EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and leadership.
• Facilitate safety committees and employee engagement initiatives to build a strong safety culture.

Environmental Stewardship

• Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions, and sustainability initiatives.
• Support corporate sustainability goals and reporting requirements.

Continuous Improvement

• Analyze EHS performance metrics and drive initiatives to achieve year-over-year improvements.
• Stay current with regulatory changes, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.

What You Bring

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EHS management systems a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (preferred). Associate degree or equivalent experience considered.
• 1–3 years in EHS roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• OSHA 30 required; CSP, ASP, or CHMM preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
