FARM MANAGER - (Brawley, CA)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the preparation of annual farm budgets with responsibility for implementation and management.
- Manage irrigation and tractor supervisors and employee crews as required to complete work.
- Direct and coordinate worker activities such as planting, irrigation, chemical application, assist in harvest preparation, and other related ranch projects.
- Record information such as farm management practices and operational reports.
- Monitor work activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. or M.S. in Business Ag, Agronomy, Plant Science, Horticulture, or other related agricultural field.
- Must have 5-7 years of row crop experience.
- Must have understanding of row crop cultural programs and the ability to implement these programs, including irrigation, fertility, pest control, weed control, and soil amendments.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability is a plus.
