Job Description

Natural Environments Corporation is seeking to fill four (4) temporary, full-time peakload Landscape Laborers positions for April 1, 2026 to December 1, 2026. Worksite: 3243 Winpark Drive, New Hope, MN 55427 and multiple sites in Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Scott and Washington in MN. Job Duties: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, lawn aerating, raking, sprinkler system installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Spring/Fall clean-ups, including raking, mulching, and composting of leaves, removal of dead plant material, weeding, perennial plant cutbacks, landscape bed mulching, and pruning plants from the ground level using hand tools such as rakes, shovels, hand shears, wheelbarrows, and pitch forks. May drive crew vehicle. No driver s license is required as a condition of employment for the position. If the prospective worker already possesses a standard, noncommercial driver s license they may be asked to drive a vehicle to job sites, as needed. Requirements: No education or experience required. Special Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Must be able to perform manual, physical labor outside during all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.). Weekend and overtime required as necessary. Pre-employment background check required of foreign and domestic workers, at no cost to the worker. Terms and conditions of employment: $22.32 - $25.00/hour, 40 hours/week, Overtime available at $33.48 - $37.50 per hour. Mon-Fri, 7:00AM-5:00PM. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Employees will be paid bi-weekly on Friday. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. On the job training available. Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Workers will begin each day at the worksite address. They will then be transported, free of charge, to properties located throughout the area of intended employment to provide services. They will then be transported back to the worksite address at the end of each work day. Employer (ER) will make all deductions from employee's (EE) paycheck required by law and no others without EE consent. ER does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions. Potential elective deductions to be pre-authorized in writing if appble are as follows: ER will provide the 1st set of t-shirts and sweatshirts free of charge. Optn to purchase addl uniform can be deducted from payroll. If needed, ER will assist in arranging optional EE-paid lodging for hired foreign and non-local U.S. EE. At EEs electn, ER will either deduct for the reasonable fair market value cost of rent and utilities based on # of occupants for EEs who voluntarily elect to live in ER-offered housing or EE will pay housing dctly to third-party landlord based on the terms of the lease. Per MN Earned Sick and Safe Time Act (ESST), EE accrue 1hr pd for sick/safe time/30hr wrkd, max 48 hr/yr. Upon arrival, shared vehicle will be provided at no cost for travel to/from the work site for relocating EEs only. The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitmentto the place of employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
