Venza Care is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our team at Oak Haven Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center . You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that our residents and staff have fresh, clean linens, contributing to a comfortable and sanitary environment.

Shifts Available:

1. Evening 8-hour

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate washing machines and dryers to clean residents' clothing and facility linens.
2. Follow proper laundry procedures and maintain a schedule to ensure a constant supply of clean linens.
3. Apply appropriate treatment to stained fabrics as required.
4. Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry to resident rooms and storage areas.
5. Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
6. Adhere to infection control and safety policies in all laundry practices.
7. Collaborate with the housekeeping team to manage linen inventory.

Qualifications:

1. Experience with laundry operations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
2. Knowledge of laundry equipment and proper fabric care.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
5. Physical capability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
