Entry-Level Plastic Injection Mold Operator

Pay: $16-18/hr

Job Summary

As an Entry-Level Injection Mold Operator, you will operate molding machines, inspect parts, and support production goals. No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate plastic injection molding machines to produce parts according to quality and production standards.
• Inspect finished parts for defects such as flash, short shots, or discoloration.
• Trim excess material, package parts, and prepare items for shipping or assembly.
• Load materials into machines and monitor the production cycle.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety guidelines.
• Report machine issues, defective parts, or material shortages to supervisors.
• Complete production logs and documentation accurately.
• Assist with basic machine cleanings and mold changes as trained.

Qualifications

• No experience required—training provided.
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours and lift up to 35–50 lbs as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and measurement skills are a plus.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety and quality procedures.
