Job Summary: We are looking for a dependable and experienced OSP Lineman to join our telecommunications construction team. This role focuses on aerial work, including lashing fiber optic cable, installing strand and hardware, and maintaining overhead infrastructure. The ideal candidate is comfortable working at heights, understands safety protocols, and has experience with aerial telecom construction. Key Responsibilities: + Install, maintain, and repair aerial fiber optic and copper cable. + Lash and de-lash fiber optic cable to strand using appropriate equipment. + Set up and maintain strand, anchors, guy wires, and other aerial hardware. + Operate bucket trucks, cable lashers, and other aerial construction equipment. + Read and interpret construction prints, maps, and work orders. + Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with industry standards. + Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tools and equipment. + Work in various weather conditions and environments. Qualifications: + 5+ years of experience in aerial telecommunications construction. + Proficient in lashing fiber, strand placement, and pole transfers. + Ability to climb poles and work at heights using proper safety gear. + Familiarity with bucket trucks, cable lashers, and hand tools. + Valid driver's license (CDL preferred). + Strong understanding of safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
