What You'll Do

• Prep surfaces with taping, sanding, and washing to ensure optimal adhesion

• Apply powder coatings to metal components using manual or assisted systems

• Monitor coating coverage and consistency across varied part types

• Conduct in-process checks to ensure compliance with visual and dimensional standards

• Assist with color changes and booth maintenance

• Work independently while meeting team quality and throughput goals

Recommended Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in powder or industrial paint application

• Working knowledge of masking, hanging, and surface preparation techniques

• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe paint environment

• Familiarity with basic troubleshooting of spray equipment or line flow issues

Preferred Background

• Experience with multicolor operations or complex part geometry

• Previous work in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing

• Training in lean or 5S environments
