A career opportunity is available for a Protocol Analyst (Skill Level 4) to support mission-critical operations in a dynamic cyber and signals analysis environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong protocol analysis expertise and the ability to apply that knowledge to support tool development and data tagging initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced knowledge of protocol analysis to support the development of new tools and techniques for data tagging and signal identification.

• Collaborate with technical teams to support ongoing initiatives involving communications signals and network traffic.

• Analyze and interpret signal data, including bitstreams and waveforms, in support of mission objectives.

• Contribute to efforts in network traffic characterization , network troubleshooting , and security analysis .

Compensation:

• Base Salary Range: $182,000 – $216,000 (USD)

• Compensation is based on experience, education, location, and other factors.

• Additional performance-based compensation and benefits may apply.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Experience (one of the following combinations):

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Science, or a related technical field plus 11 years of relevant experience

• Associate’s degree plus 13 years of relevant experience (must have completed one of the following military courses:

  • Course 451: Intermediate Signals Analysis

  • Course 452: Advanced Signals Analysis

  • Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP))

• High school diploma or GED plus 15 years of relevant experience (with the same military course requirements as above)

Relevant Experience Includes:

• Signals analysis (especially related to communications signals)

• Bitstream analysis and waveform analysis

• Protocol analysis and interpretation

• Network troubleshooting and traffic characterization

• Network security and cyber operations support

Security Clearance:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this role.
