Salary: $71,760 - 71,760 per year Requirements:

• Ability to work full-time with morning, afternoon, and evening availability, including weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have experience as a Police Officer, Deputy, Trooper, or in United States Military Law Enforcement or Special Operations.
• Proven problem-solving skills and effectiveness in managing conflict.
• Strong judgment capabilities to make decisions that impact safety and well-being.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Proficiency with advanced PC skills, including MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

• As a Security Coordinator at our Wegmans store in Fairfax, VA, you will be charged with fostering a secure environment for both our customers and employees. Your role includes:
• Prioritizing safety for individuals in our stores and implementing safety programs for a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborating with management to develop an Asset Protection strategy aimed at maximizing sales while minimizing theft.
• Cultivating professional relationships with community organizations and emergency responders to enhance safety and security measures.
• Observing customers, vendors, and employees to prevent losses and utilizing resources to address shoplifting incidents discreetly.
• Overseeing all Closed-Circuit Television systems and life safety measures within the store.
• Responsively managing emergency situations and employing problem-solving skills for conflict resolution.
• Conducting discreet investigations and surveillance under the Asset Protection Manager’s direction.
