Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a Full Sales Agent to join our team! You will be responsible for generating your own leads, using cold outreach to set appointments, running the meetings, and closing deals to drive company revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through various methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
  • Cold Calling: Initiate a high volume of cold calls to engage potential clients in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Lead Qualification: Understand and assess clients' needs, qualifying leads based on IAS Forwarding's service offerings.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified meetings with decision-makers at prospective client companies.
  • Running Meetings: Conduct meetings with potential clients to present IAS Forwarding's services and address their needs.
  • Closing Deals: Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets and drive company revenue.
  • Follow Up: Maintain regular follow-up with potential leads, addressing questions and building trust.
  • Market Research: Continuously research and identify new business opportunities in logistics, focusing on expanding client portfolios.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to refine strategies and develop tailored outreach campaigns, ensuring alignment with market demands and client needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Communications:
    • Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to convey the company´s value proposition clearly.
    • Maintain excellent relationships with allocated clients, frequently visit them, and continually assess the company's requirements.
    • Support communication between the customer and finance department.
  • Sales Acumen:
    • Strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to nurture leads into potential business opportunities.

Education & Experience

  • 1-2+ years in outbound sales, cold calling, or telemarketing, ideally with logistics or freight forwarding companies.
