QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have a valid state motor vehicle license. Must have at least 3 years of Security Officer or Security Supervisory experience. Minimum of 3 years of previous customer service experience. Completed CPR/First Aid training. Must have received or be willing to receive COVID19 vaccination per current hiring policies.

ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Vision: adequate to read 12-point type with or without use of corrective lenses.
• Must be able to verbally interact with staff, clients, and the public.
• Manual dexterity of hands/fingers for writing and data entry.

• Pushing up to 60__ lbs.
• Pulling up to 60__ lbs.
• Rescue assist up to 100__ lbs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and enforce Marimn Health’s security protocols and policies.
• Monitor and control access to the facility to ensure only authorized individuals enter.
• Conduct regular security patrols of the facility, including buildings, parking areas, and restricted zones.
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies including medical incidents, fire alarms, and disturbances.
• De-escalate conflicts and support staff in handling disruptive patients or visitors.
• Ensure compliance with Marimn’s policies related to safety, smoking, weapons, and restricted access.
• Collaborate with internal departments and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders.
• Lead and participate in safety training and emergency drills.
• Document and report any incidents or suspicious activity promptly and thoroughly.
• Assist with internal investigations of civil and criminal matters.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for security issues during operational hours.
• Ensure all security team members are trained and maintain readiness through required courses (e.g., De-escalation, Defensive Tactics, Active Shooter Response).
• Provide assistance with basic vehicle issues such as jump-starts and lockouts.
• Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the safety and operations of the facility.
