We are currently searching for a
Usability Tester to support our client for a two-year project in
West Sacramento, CA. Target hourly pay rate is: $60.00 an hour
The Usability Tester will be supporting the modernization efforts for a State of California program that supports the workflow of School Facility Program (SFP) Matching Share calculations, Grants, and Funding for certain disasters. These system enhancements are to improve performance, efficiency, stability, and user experience.
Responsibilities - Lead the quality assurance and testing activities to ensure the business and technical requirements are tested and met.
- Provide expertise in automated testing tools, implement test automation framework, and perform automated testing for system integration testing and/or regression testing.
- Test the integrated system to ensure the solution supports the end-to-end business processes.
- Test the integrated system to ensure the security stories and related requirements are met.
- Create documentation and conduct user training.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to plan, design, and execute User Acceptance Testing.
- Record and track defects according to the established Defect Management Process.
- Provide test design, test execution, automated testing, defect management, and test environment management knowledge transfer to staff.
- Oversees all testing activities, test schedules, test plans, test cases for all for the application.
- Ensures all testing standards are being met.
Requirements - Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or information systems.
- Ten years of experience in a test automation role.
- Experience in designing, developing and implementing Test Automation framework using technologies such as Playwright, C#, Nunit.
- Experience in a mix of text, images, data, sound, animation, and other effects to create interactive communication products as part of a product development team, ADA, OWAS compliance, and guidelines.
- Test Lead developing software test plans, writing test cases, and performing system testing, testing API using tools such SoapUI, working with QA analysts and software developers to find solutions.
- Experience using Agile/Scrum Methodologies.
- Be familiar with Azure DevOps.
- Previous experience with FED/Sled program modernization efforts.
